Homemade Bug Repellent That Really Works

This past weekend my family of 8 decided to take a camping trip. As I was preparing I realized that I had no bug spray. I was not about to go and spend three days in the woods without any protection. I didn't have time to run to the store and purchase any. One of my daughters made a comment  "just make your own". Now why didn't I think of that :) So off I went to the Internet to look up essential oils that work great to rid off bugs, ticks and so forth. Come to find out I had all the essential oils they named. I went to my laboratory (which is just my kitchen) to come up with some sort of concoction.  I don't think anyone thought it would work but I surprised them all. I have to say, this stuff worked like a gem. At the first sight of mosquitoes I grabbed my spray and applied it to everyone in the camp. From head to toe. I even sprayed the area we were eating and sleeping. I knew this stuff was going to work when I saw a swarm of mosquitoes hoovering over my hubby's head. I spray a few squirts of my homemade bug spray and off they went. It was like RAID  for them. At the end of our three day trip in the woods, No bug bites at all. I'm in love. Not only did this stuff keep bugs off but is also smelled great. Give it a try, you'll be amazed.

Ingredients:
4 oz. Distilled water
4 oz. Witch hazel
1 Tbsp Vegetable Glycerin
50 drops of ESO: These are the ones I used (5 drops of each)
Rosemary, Lavender, Cinnamon
Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Myrrh
Rose Geranium, Lemon Grass, Lemon
Cedar wood

Directions:
Combine all ingredients together and shake well. The vegetable glycerin helps the water and oils mix together but once in a while you will have to give it a good shake before use.

Please try it out and let me know what you think.
