Homemade Hibiscus Tea Recipe

This oh so good for you homemade tea is amazing. The flavor is excellent and it's refreshing. Drink it hot on a cold night or have it chilled on ice for those hot summer days. Give this drink a try, you'll be amazed how great it taste and how good it is for you.


Ingredients: Makes 1 Quart

4 cups of water

1/2 cup of "sugar in the raw" healthier for you :)
1/2 cup of dried Hibiscus
1 cinnamon stick
2 thin slices of ginger 



Directions: add your 4 cups of the water, sugar, cinnamon, ginger slices to your pot. Heat until boiling and sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat. Stir in the dried hibiscus flowers. Let it sit for at least 5 minutes if using as a hot drink. If using as a cold drink, it can sit until it cools. Strain into a pitcher and discard the used hibiscus flowers, ginger, and cinnamon stick.
