My New Adventure - The Tower Garden

My Tower Garden at 2 Weeks
I am loving my new Tower Garden and I can't help but share it with you.

I must confess, I do not have a green thumb. So, when the opportunity came to grow my own garden without the mess of dirt and bugs, I was thrilled to jump right in.

However, it did take some convincing my hubby. He was not so happy with the cost of the Tower. It is a big whopping $525 (not including shipping). YES, I know it is EXPENSIVE. BUT, if you calculate the cost of produce you purchase weekly, it does add up. Especially for my family of 8. When he realized how much I spent, it made sense to purchase this tower. Besides, after a while the unit would pay for itself.

If you put all cost aside, the quality of food that you would be getting is so much better for your family. This is something I want to be able to pass along to my children. Healthy eating habits and the ability to grow your own food.

There is so much I can grow with this tower. Indoors and out. As you saw at the beginning of the post, my tower is currently in my kitchen. Since it is still cool here in Illinois, I went ahead and set up my Garden Tower in my kitchen. Once the weather is better I will be placing this out side. As you can see, it is growing and producing vegetables and fruit.

Right now in my tower I have growing:

Romaine lettuce
Broccoli
Strawberries
Lemon Balm
Mint
Beef Tomatoes
Roma Tomatoes
Yellow Peppers
Green Peppers
Green Beans
Cucumbers
Cilantro

The possibilities are endless.

If you have any questions please feel free to email me or comment below. I will be posting regular updates on the growth of the tower.

God Bless!
