Quick & Easy Homemade PlayDough without Cream of Tartar

Yes, there are so many "Playdough" recipes online but most of them require cooking the dough or cream of
tartar which no one has on hand. And who wants to cook the dough? I want my kids to be able to help make it and if it is too hot their little hands will not be able to help at all.

This recipe is so easy and simple. It will only take a few minutes to make and your kiddies will have fun with you in the kitchen.

Makes 4 colors

Ingredients:
1 cup hot water (not boiling, hot to touch)
3 cups of all purpose flour
1 cup of salt
2 tbsp of vegetable oil
food coloring

Directions:

Evenly distribute the ingredients into four bowls (1/4 cup hot water, 3/4 cup flour, 1/4 cup salt, 1/2 tbsp oil & coloring)

First add your your water, oil and food coloring. Give it a stir then add your flour and salt. Mix together & knead well until it begins to resemble playdough. If too sticky add a little bit of flour. If too dry add a tiny bit of water. You'll know how it should like ;)

Storage:

You can use whatever you have on hand. I just so happened to have takeout containers that I use for other things. But you can use a zip lock or plastic wrap. Anything that will keep it from drying out. This should last several months but in my house we are not sure since my kiddies forget to put it away when done :) LOL!

I hope you Enjoy!
