Refreshing Strawberry Limeade

I love summer time drinks. Especially a large glass of Strawberry Limeade, sit out on the deck and enjoy nature.

This recipe is a twist on your regular Strawberry Lemonade. Limes have a better taste to them and when mixed with strawberries the flavors just burst out in this wonderful taste. Spice this up with some fresh mint and it takes it to a whole new level. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.

Ingredients make 64 oz:

1 Cup lime juice (approx. 3 large limes)
1 cup sliced strawberries
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup boiling water
water to fill pitcher

Directions:

Juice your limes and pour into your pitcher. Slice strawberries in half or quarters and pour into your pitcher. In a separate bowl, pour boiling hot water over your sugar to make a simple syrup. Stir and let sit until your syrup has turned clear. Once it has cooled, pour into your pitcher and add water to the rim of the pitcher. Stir and enjoy.
